I support dramatic efforts to usher in a new clean energy
economy and cut global warming pollution. The American Clean Energy and
Security Act would require all new buildings to be green buildings within a generation. Please support this legislation and take every opportunity to
strengthen it and deliver more clean energy for America.
Energy Building a new energy futureIn 2006, voters approved Initiative 937, which requires utilities to
get at least 15 percent of their power from renewable energy and to
increase energy conservation programs. Environment Washington worked
with a broad coalition of labor, religious, business and environmental
organizations to bring the question to voters.
