Determining Puget Sound’s future
The Puget Sound Partnership, established by Gov. Gregoire to help preserve Puget Sound, is now in the midst of creating their Action Agenda to restore the Sound by 2020. This plan will determine our state’s approach to solving problems that are hurting the Sound—and a good plan is critical to restoring wildlife populations like the orca and salmon.
This summer, dozens of young people will spend their summer working to protect the Sound, knocking on doors across the state to help generate support for the strong action needed to ensure the Sound’s future. So, if you see some Environment Washington T-shirts, take a second to take action, and send a message that you want Washington to clean up Puget Sound.
